Ohio SAR Ladies Auxiliary Members Recognized for Patriotic Service
Three members of the Ohio Society SAR Ladies Auxiliary received high honors at the Society’s 128th Annual State Conference in Blue Ash, Ohio. On May 6th, State President Col. (Ret) Donald C. McGraw recognized the ladies for their patriotic services.
Valerie L. Wilke was presented with the National Society SAR Silver Good Citizenship Medal which is in recognition of outstanding and unusual patriotic achievement. The medal is presented to persons of prominence in the areas of government, military service, religion, education, business and other professions, and other fields of endeavor. Mrs. Wilke is the wife of SAR Compatriot Paul M. Wilke of the Cincinnati Chapter, and resides in North Bend, Ohio.
Connie Beebe and Venie Hinson received the National Society SAR Martha Washington Medal in recognition of outstanding service to the Ohio Society. Mrs. Beebe is the wife of Compatriot Lance Beebe of the Firelands Bicentennial Chapter and resides in Huron, Ohio; and Mrs. Hinson is the wife of Compatriot L. Stephen Hinson of the Northeastern Ohio Chapter and resides in Andover, Ohio.
