John Dye Honored – Lancaster
John Dye of Lancaster received the Historic Preservation Recognition Award from the Elizabeth Sherman Reese Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, at their Annual Awards Ceremony, on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Lancaster, Ohio.
John, age 90, was recognized for his many years of dedicated service in bringing history to life for students and adults alike in classrooms, special events, and in his volunteer work at the Sherman House and with the Fairfield Heritage Association.
