The General Henry Knox Chapter held its quarterly Board of Management on Saturday, September 12th at the Mount Vernon Public Library.  Members in attendance approved dues for 2016 that will be collected during the last quarter of the year.  Member Steve Kelley provided a travelogue of his recent vacation to Eastern Pennsylvania which included Revolutionary War sites of Valley Forge, the Battle of Barren Hill, and Independence Hall.  General Henry Knox showed up at Valley Forge where he wintered in 1777-1778 with the Army and in Philadelphia at New Hall where the first War Department was housed, a block from Independence Hall.
