Cincinnati Chapter SAR Welcomes New Members on Flag Day


The Cincinnati Chapter SAR celebrated Flag Day with a luncheon on Saturday, June 13th at the Crowne Plaza, Blue Ash. U.S. Park Service Ranger Reginald B. Murray, Eastern National Coordinator for the William Howard Taft Historic Site, gave a very entertaining presentation about President William Howard Taft and his birthplace, which is located on Auburn Avenue in Cincinnati. Two new Compatriots were also inducted – Wayne and Timothy Rieger for their Patriot Thomas Venard.
