SAR Welcomes Home Honor Flight Columbus

On Saturday May 30th, members of the Camp Charlotte, General Henry Knox, and Hocking Valley Chapters of the Ohio Society SAR all came together to welcome home “Honor Flight Columbus” with 82 World War II and Korean War veterans returning from their trip to Washington, D.C. at the Port Columbus International Airport in Columbus, Ohio.

Honor Flight Columbus recognizes and celebrates World War II and Korean War veterans by flying them to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to their important service at no cost to them.
