Honoring G.R. Clark – Vincennes, IN

Today we participated in the Commemorative Ceremony for George Rogers Clark in the Memorial to him in Vincennes, IN. This event is held annually in conjunction with the Rendezvous on the park grounds. There is an encampment, a sutlers fair, and battle re-enactments. T. Rex Legler of Indiana was master of ceremonies. Wm Tony Robinson, VPG for Central District represented Lindsey Brock , PG and the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and presented wreaths on behalf of the National Society and the Ohio Society..  The NSSAR Ladies Auxiliary, the Daughter of the American Revolution and the Children of the American Revolution presented wreaths. We spent the afternoon browsing the food booths in the sutlers’ encampment, looking at and buying Colonial related items, and talking to people who visited the SAR tent.
