Merit Badge Academy – Findlay
The John Hancock Chapter hosted their inaugural Merit Badge Academy for the Boy Scouts of the Black Swamp Area Council on November 15th. This was a half day program which featured classes to teach either the Genealogy, American Heritage and Law database to the 30+ scouts that attended. The program was kicked off with a color guard opening and a presentation about the SAR and our Eagle Scout Scholarship Program.

The positive feedback was overwhelming from both the Scouts, as well as the Black Swamp Area Council. A special thanks to all who participated. Below is a picture of the scouts during their mock trial.
