Backstreet Festival – Findlay

The Hancock Historical Museum held it’s annual “Backstreet Festival” on Saturday, August 16th.  The event saw dozens of pre-WWII cars, museum tours, a quilt show, an ice cream social, live music and of course, a Revolutionary War camp by the John Hancock Chapter of Findlay.  An estimated twelve hundred people came by the museum grounds to enjoy the festivities, and took time to stop at the SAR information table, as well as take in the chapters demonstrations including cartridge rolling, musket and rifle demonstrations, drill and field music. Pictured include members Henry Stobbs, Jim Haas, Jim Williams, Tom Putnam and Daniel Haas.  Also participating were Irene Putnam, Toby Haas and Bill Barberee.
