Flag City Honor Flight – Findlay

A combined effort of the John Hancock Chapter and the Firelands Bicentennial Chapters participated in the 2014 welcome home ceremony for Flag City Honor Flight out of Findlay.  The 2014 Honor Flight hosted 77 veterans of WWII and Korea, and included Norval Knouse who at age 101, is the oldest attendee of any FCHF trip.  From the John Hancock Chapter, Daniel Haas, Toby Haas (CAR), Thomas Putnam and wife Irene attended.  Lance Beebe and his wife Connie (DAR) represented the Firelands Bicentennial chapter.  The contingent had the honor of meeting the vets on the tarmac displaying various Revolutionary War flags.
