Fall Color Guard – Circleville

Pumpkin Show 10-18-13

Camp Charlotte, Hocking Valley, George Rogers Clark, Marietta, General Henry Knox chapters sent representatives to the Pumpkin Show in Circleville, Ohio over the weekend. Color Guard Commander Tony Robinson led uniformed members in three parades, two on Friday and one on Saturday. Pictured above is the Color Guard who led the Friday Afternoon parade. Friday evening, State Society President George Ruch was featured at the Fraternal and Civic Parade.

The 106th annual festival drew over 100,000 people to the community during the week long event.

    By Thursday evening the estimated crowd attendance was 300,000. This was the largest attendance in the history of the show. The crowd was 10 rolls deep Friday evening when President Ruch went through.
