2013-04-06 12.24.58

The John Hancock Chapter held its monthly meeting in downtown Findlay on Saturday, April 6th. There were seventeen in attendance including two families, the Hass and the Jewett families where multiple generations were in attendance. President Daniel Haas had his father and son joining him while Phil Jewett and his father, Greg,  were in attendance.

Also in attendance was Richard Willson, a national Minute Man and former Librarian General (1983 – 1994). Originally active in Illinois, Compatriot Willson retired to Ohio and has been active with the John Hancock Chapter. One of his strongest memories was moving the genealogical library from Washington DC to Louisville.

Bronze Color Guard Medals were awarded to Daniel and James Haas and a Military Service Medal awarded to Henry Stobbs.
